Everyday Social Skills

Listening

  • Understand very slow, carefully spoken Spanish with pauses that make it easier to follow and absorb meaning.

Reading

  • Recognise familiar names, words, and short phrases.

  • Read very simple texts, focusing on one phrase at a time, and reread as needed to understand.

Speaking & Interaction

  • Take part in short, simple conversations.

  • Rely on repetition, slower speech, and rephrasing when needed to get your message across.

Speaking & Presenting

  • Use simple phrases to talk briefly about people and places.

Writing & Interaction

  • Ask for and provide basic personal details in writing.

Writing & Production

  • Write simple phrases and sentences about yourself or imaginary people, including where they live and what they do.
